I have been buying on eBay for 10 years and selling on eBay for 5. I began selling on eBay when my grandmother had a stroke and we had to liquidate her store's inventory. I started with her store inventory, then sold all the treasures (and junk) in the upstairs areas . I moved onto her personal attic once she passed. We sold over $40,000 on eBay for her business by the time I was through! You may not have a store full of inventory, but I bet you have a garage and attic full of things you could clear out.

Kendal Kleanz It Out!
It started innocently enough. Mom was having company and needed her house cleaned. Since I am an avid cleaner - I was on the job. I tend to move everything as I clean and so I began to move things around, and out of, her house. My title of house cleaner changed to house cleaner-outer. Even my grandmother, who is 92, when asked if she wanted me to come dust for her replied, "only if she doesn't throw anything out!"
This may be a little over-stated because I would never throw anything out that wasn't mine...I would just reuse, re-purpose, recycle it!
Seriously, my mother wanted help cleaning, organizing and re-decorating her home. She had just bought new furniture and was planning a big party. She new I loved to do those things and she absolutely hated to do them. Not only could she not get started, she didn't know how to start. She now has a beautiful home. Crisp, clean and organized. By clearing out her clutter, we also cleared out the stress behind the mess. Now she doesn't have to worry about the piles of books in her bedroom - she can focus on writing her own books.

Many people are in the same boat. They want to clear out all those drawers and closets. They want to park in the garage that is currently filled with boxes. They wonder what is in those Rubber maid containers in the attic from grandma's house that was put there in 1987. Let me tackle those boxes and move them out!
Closing up Estates -
In 2003, my grandmother had a stroke. My family was left with not only her monstrous house and packed attic to sort through, but also a two-story business that had been "collecting" items since the 1940s (I found boxes dated back to the late 40s.) It took months to sort, inventory, and box it. Along with her store inventory, I sold many old collectibles, newspapers, magazines, records, and JUNK on eBay. A couple of years later, a friend contacted me about helping her do the same thing at her mother-in-law's house when she went to Assisted Living. Her husband just could not face cleaning out the house where he grew up. Everyday for three weeks, I went to her house and sorted everything. From her bathroom cabinet to her curio cabinet, everything was separated, inventoried and boxed. We then held an estate sale for the large furniture and a separate sale for all the household items. I listed any remaining items on eBay. My friend later told me that he had planned to just have a dumpster delivered and throw it all away! He just couldn't face all the memories from her home and didn't want but a couple of items for himself. By cleaning out his mother's house, I helped him not only close up the house but also helped him avoid the entire grievous project. He made a little money to put in his mother's health care account, the items went to loving homes instead of the landfill, and I felt wonderful.
