My fiancé, Eric, actually found Kendal Spinks Hall on the internet when we started to plan our wedding in July of this year. In fact, he found several caterers’ web sites who are located in Cartersville. We interviewed one caterer, then Kendal and finally the third. After meeting Kendal and spending almost an hour with her, we had really already decided that she was the one we wanted to do our wedding. However, as we had already made the appointment we thought we should do our homework completely and thoroughly so we met with the last one the next day. At the end of this process, we were more convinced than ever that Kendal was the right person.
Her professionalism from the very start was far and above that of the other two. She was able to advise and direct us along the way and made me completely comfortable and confident that everything would be done properly and in the way I wanted; not her own preferences.
In addition to the services we contracted with Kendal, she gave me so much advice, tips on how to decorate, where to purchase things, how to save money in ways I would have never dreamed, even how to arrange the seating, tips on flower arranging to achieve the arrangements I wanted…. So many things!
She and her staff went far above what I had expected and I feel confident that this would not have been the case with most other caterers.
Our wedding was in early October and I wanted an up-scale fall, non-traditional Southern based menu. Kendal was ready with a menu for every suggestion I made.
From the beginning, Eric and I agreed that we wanted 3 things for the guests at our wedding…good food was the top of the list. Without exception, every guest commented about the quality of the food, how impressive the presentation - from the table set-up, the quality of the dinnerware, flatware, glasses; absolutely every detail was perfect.
We had guests from as far away as the UK, Los Angeles and Chicago. Everyone said it was a beautiful wedding with fabulous wedding. Even the minister commented on what a good job our caterer did.
At the end of the journey of planning our wedding, I feel as though I have made a friend in Kendal. I would recommend her for any occasion and will be recommending her for our business functions as well.

Kendal Hall is a creative genius in the kitchen. She prepares the food for optimum taste and delightful appeal to one's other senses. When Kendal has her tables set up for serving, the scrumptious smells and beautiful serving arrangements can cause one to utter "Mmmmmmm.." many times over!
Everyone should be so lucky, as I have been, to enjoy Kendal's food at special events and watch her artistic flair with table presentation and bask in the absolute deliciousness of her recipes, new and old.

IN JULY OF 2009 WE AGAIN CHOOSE KENDALL TO CATER OUR WEDDING ON ST SIMONS ISLAND. AGAIN IT WAS A 2 DAY EVENT WITH A REHERSAL DINNER THE EVENING BEFORE. ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING WE HAD AN ELABORATE BRUNCH WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF EXQUISITE DISHES INCLUDING SALMON, SHRIMP, AND FILET OF BEEF, CHICKEN SALAD, AND A FRUIT TREE CASCADE. DRINKS INCLUDED CHAMPAGNE PUNCH SERVED FROM A FOUNTAIN, AND A BLOODY MARY STATION. AS THE DAY PROGRESSED WE ENJOYED AN ALL AMERICAN SUPPER INCLUDING ROTESSIRE HOT DOGS WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS, POTATO SALAD AND HOME MADE ICE CREAM.

I would like to formally recommend the catering service of Kendal Hall. I feel this comes with much more weight than just a satisfied customer or a friend. For over 30 years I have been closely connected to facilities such as King and Prince on St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island Hotel, Jekyll Is. Convention center as well as The Cloister on Sea Island. As the musician (band leader) for over 500 weddings and formal banquets I can honestly say I have seen the best and seen the worst. ( The musicians always got to eat) My experience with Kendal Hall and her work has been nothing short of phenomenal. The food she serves was of excellent quality, wonderful presentation and served with detailed organization. I've been at banquets at Sea Island where even they could not hold a candle to Kendal's attention to detail. I had center cut Lamb chops get cold as ice at Sea Island while someone had to find the mint Jelly—get the picture? This woman is well organized, a hard worker and above all pretty, personable and trustworthy.
I've been married 46 years and if my wife ever runs off on me and I get married again I'll have Kendal do the wedding.
